It consists in exporting the entire project, including all the media in the "project files" section into a single compressed file.
This could be very useful for transfering a project to another computer, backups, etc.

Scribus has a "collect files" menu item which does something similar: It copies all the media files used in a project in a central directory, just where the project file lives.
This is something that OpenShot should support, too. Ideal for backups.
