When we cut clips into smaller segments it would be nice to have another tab where we can "store" them and rename them (and add eventually a description), so it will be easier to select them already cut to drop on the timeline or to reorder them.

There is little difference between this bug report and the other one filed by you today (Bug #841142). Could you please clarify the differences?
