Hi Tobias, Thanks for this suggestion. I'll give it a try. I have another problem I've been dealing with. My videos can contain 350 plus clips. Sometimes I have a real problem importing all of them which can cause Openshot to hang. Also, when I finally do get them all imported, I start editing out the bad video which means if I, lets say, clip out a portion of video clip 0001, then I need to drag over to fill the gap all the other video clips which might mean dragging 300 clips which takes a lot of time. My solution was to import and drag all the clips to the timeline, render them all to one big video clip, then import the single big video file. That way I can clip out the bad pieces and just move the one large clip to the left to close the gap. Now for my next problem, as I work through the movie, it takes longer and longer and longer to make a change. It gets to the point that it can take several minutes per change, for example, adding a transition, a title, or just moving to a new location on the timeline. I was thinking that I have a quad q8400 Intel processor and I'm running 32 bit Ubuntu with 2 gig memory. I was thinking about a memory problem because my videos can be up to 16 gig and larger. I was thinking about installing 64 bit Ubuntu. Do you have any thoughts regarding that? Again, thanks for the suggestion, Don -----Original Message----- From:
