Cannot read output from openshot

Ubuntu 9.04 - Gnome
Manual Download
OpenShot (version 1.0.0)

When I create a 16:9 DV VOB output file, I cannot view the result using VLC or cant manage to create a DVD in 2ManDVD, DVDStyler or DeVeDe. DeVeDe and DVDStyler complain about an mencoder error on the vob file. I created simple title and exported the VOB, VLC cannot view the file.

2ManDVD 1.2 (compiled)
DVD Styler 1.7.2
VLC 0.9.9a
ffmpeg 3:0.svn20090303-1ubuntu6+patch~ppa3
mencoder 2:1.0~rc2-0ubuntu19
openshot-ffmpeg git-2623d8f-1

Try installing these packages, and see if that helps:
libavformat-extra-52 and libavcodec-extra-52

I am running 9.04 and am having trouble finding the libraries. They look
like they are Karmic libraries. I tried the karmic library which
requires libavutil-extra-49 >=4:0.5+svn20090706 which is not in the
jaunty repository.

For jaunty, it will probably be called libavutil-unstripped-49.

I upgraded to Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 and export from OpenShot is perfect.
