Crash when exporting to any format

Works great to make and save a project but when trying to export the file, the program closes right after I click "Export Video".

1. Ubuntu 9.10
2. OpenShot 1.0.0

Not the primary instance of OpenShot. Not starting queue watcher thread.

Confirmed with Ubuntu 9.10 and Openshot 1.0.0. I experience the same. I've tried export in PAL to DVD Widescreen and Vimeo Widescreen.
