Simple rotation

Hello, it’s not realy a question, just a request.
Using simple camera for making small film, I often have to rotate them 90°.

Adding a one-clic rotation 90/180/270° would be great.

This would be very useful. Better still, auto-rotate based on the orientation of the photo as specified in the EXIF meta-data. I am currently looking into this to possibly add to Videoporama (also Python based), so if I have any success, I will post the results here.

Any news on this ? I still prefer doing a : mencoder -oac copy -ovc lavc -vf rotate=1 film.avi -o film_rotate.avi than using the rotate interface with is way too complicat for just a 90° rotation  (see this bug : https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot/+bug/506192)

No no news on of our part (Openshot Team). That's right that's not very easy. That is asking some effect of the user. And that's right than Trevor said/ask/explain is really a good idea. When we will attack this bug, this track will be used.

It would be a very usefull aid in OpenShot to rotate photo's from landscape to potrait. Now all photo's are standard landscape which is not very nice looking for photo's who has been shot as potrait.
