Bug Description

Running on Linux, Xubuntu 16.04 64 bit, using the AppIamge 2.1

I click the hide button but nothing happens, do some thing in another part of the screen, and the Tutorial goes away, but as soon as I return to the clips area it comes back.

Same to me:

Workaround: hold alt key+left click and move the tutorial frame far away...

Huh, if I use the alt key+left click to move the tutorial frame, I can then click the "next" button at least.
Seems so far if can can click through them all, it stops (?)

Moving the tutorial dialog with Alt-Left Click as suggested by enrico, and then clicking on hide about 30-40 times finally made it go away.

The "Hide Tutorial" button worked for me after I minimized Openshot. I'm using Xubuntu 18.04 but I had this issue on Xubuntu 16.04 as well

Still a problem for me (also in Xubuntu 18.04). Minimizing the main OpenShot window works around the problem. If you actually want to see the tutorial, you need to minimize the main window between each tutorial pop-up, as it unminimizes each time.

But none of the "fixes" above work with me. That is a hell of a sticky window/floating div....

OK, got a solution.

My guess is a bug in the capture of mouse clicks on the tutorial floating area/window eventually because of some bug in overlaying it over the main window.

I found that I can get rid of it OR simply see the tutorial if i left click the button "Next" or "Hide Tutorial" AND keep the button pressed WHILE moving the mouse pointer a little. This will make the button change to a dark colour and seems to capture the click event.
