Constant crashes

I can see from the bug list that crashes are common.

Linux Mint 17.2. 64 bit
Installed via symantic
Openshot 1.4.3
I have no idea about the status of the other stuff.

Crashes randomly but constantly. If I import a file. If I ad a clip to the time line. If I delete a clip from the time line. If I press play. If I add a transition. It's not always triggered by any one action. It just crashes at random all the time.

I want to love this, but it's simply so unstable as to make it unusable.

You seem to have a problem with a dependencie of Openshot either MLT either
FFmpeg.
Try to update them and see this FAQ :
