Program crashes when disk is out of space

The program crashes when the root filesystem (i.e. filesystem mounted as "/") is out of space.

1) Ubuntu 14.04
2) Installed by Ubuntu Software Center
3) OpenShot 1.4.3
4) melt 0.9.0

Effectively, we have nothing to prevent the user that he doesn't have enought free space disk.

Clearly there is nothing you can do to prevent this, but I would expect that a program would check for having enough space before starting a significant action.

I quite agree. It is why I have confirmed. And soon the milestone 2.0 will
be available I'll push it in.
