Bug Description

Ubuntu GNOME 14.04.1

Official Repositories

OpenShot 1.4.3

I created a new Project with HD 1080i, added a mp3 file and 3 pictures (jpg). When playing preview from start everything runs fine. When starting anywhere else video and photos are asynchronous.

Update: same problem with Pitivi and Kdenlive
Update 2: no problems when using wav instead of mp3

Seems to be a problem with mp3, as there where no problems after changing to a *.wav file.

Do you have update your mlt version ?

There is no FFMpeg in Ubuntu 14.04 - instead libav 9.16 is used.
Version of libmlt is 0.9.0-3
