since upgrade to 14.04 openshot constantly crashes

Bug Description

After a fresh installation of 14.04 Openshot constantly crashes after editing or saving a project. I installed Openshot 1.4.3 through the PPA on the website of Openshot. I didn't had these problems in 13.10.
I couldn't find an answer on the internet.

What did I wrong and how can I repare it?

I think you wanted to report this bug at the "main page" https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot-project (this one here is just about the libopenshot which will be part of the next major OpenShot release - but it isn't out yet, so I guess, you meant the current version?)
