Bug Description
Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
OpenShot 1.4.3 installed by PPA
Melt 0.7.6+git20120
Principal input clip is an Ogg Theora file about which avprobe says that it is 1120x736 with one audio channel: Vorbus, 22050 Hz, mono, s16.
I want to export with the same audio characteristics.
Export settings:
Target: WEBM (vpx)
Video Profile: 1120x736 (aspect ratio 4:3, frame rate 15, pixel ratio 1:1, progressive)
Quality: Med
Advanced -- audio settings:
sample rate 22050
# of channels 1
bit rate 128 kb/s
Soon after export begins, OpenShot crashes with these messages (some might have been from before the export started):
on_frmMain_
on_mnuAbout_
on_aboutdialog1
on_tlbMakeMovie
on_cboExportTyp
on_cboUploadSer
on_cboProjectTy
on_cboExportTo_
on_btnExportVid

If I change # of channels to 2, and otherwise the same as above, it exports with no problem.
Hi,
Just a thought : not sure that WebM use one channel.
Another thing more concrete : you seem to use an old (and knew as a buggy version) of MLT. Could you update it following this FAQ : https:/ /answers. launchpad. net/openshot/ +faq/1861
If you want the last version of MLT, you should use this PPA : https:/ /launchpad. net/~sunab/ +archive/ kdenlive- svn
but be careful, it is a daily PPA so he can break your installation.
After that, try again.
Thxs.
