Program crashes while resizing clips

While resizing a clip with the resize tool, the Openshot program will crash. It crashes everytime the clip is magnetically attached to an adjacent clip. If the clip is unattached to a segment, it will resize normally.

Openshot v. 1.4.3 installed via the Ubuntu Software Center
Ubuntu v. 12.04.1 LTS server edition
Kernel 3.2.0-35-generic

A debug script is unavailable.
