Select range to delete

This is a feature request, rather than a bug, but I couldn't find any other place to submit my request to.

It shows current development for these goals
1) Exporting just a small section of the overall timeline
2) Previewing a small section of the timeline

I'd like to suggest a 3rd feature for this. The ability to press 'del' and delete the section.
The video can automatically collapse together to fill the gap.
