For each set of hazard curves produced in a classical calculation, we need to produce a hazard map (which is just a collection of lon, lat, and iml values, produced from curves for a given PoE value).
For example, if a classical hazard calculation has 2 logic tree realizations worth of hazard curves, mean curves, and quantile curves at levels 0.15 and 0.85, we need to produce a hazard map for each.
Hazard maps should have the same metadata as hazard curves:
- IMT
- sa period (if IMT is SA)
- sa damping (if IMT is SA)
- logic tree branch info (if not produced from a statistical aggregate, e.g. mean/quantile)
- statistics (if mean or quantile)
- quantile level (if statistics is quantile)
Additionally, hazard map meta data will need to include the PoE value specified for the hazard map extraction. |
