New Document icons representing new Writer document, new Presentation are fuzzy, with no clear outline and looks odd near other tango'ish icons.

Would it be possible to find out which icon the "New Document" button points to so that we can fix this?

If you go:
Tools --> Options --> View
and change the icon style to something else (Human, if you had it set to Tango, or Tango, if you had it set to Human)
and then hover the mouse over the "New" button, its icon should change.

I think this might have something to do with the fact that there are SVG files in the icon file. If they are removed, this problem may go away.

Never mind, it's not that. The problem is that the New icons need to be 32x32, and the current ones are 24x24

It's neither! It's a software problem. I have tried every resolution for the icon, and it's always fuzzy.

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
