Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Ubuntu 9.10 updated in 16 May 2010
Having selected the chart in the spreadsheet, I expected to be able to print it. NO. I mucked around for half an hour trying to find how to print the chart. I even tried copying and pasting to a word processing document. Nope, didn't work either.
Went to Help to find out how to print chart. Nothing there. Searched on chart print, print chart. paste chart. Then ran out of ideas.
I don't want to print the whole spreadsheet. Just the chart.
Thanks,
TIm.

Help -> Charts in OpenOffice.org
"To print a chart in high quality, you can export the chart to a PDF file and print that file."
So do "Select the chart -> Export as PDF -> Range -> Selection" and it works.

There is also an upstream bug to make this easier.
