Tried to import a PowerPoint presentation but Impress hung. I isolated the problem to two slides that contain just a single object - a plot created in MS Excel. Attempting to import either slide as a one-slide presentation hangs indefinitely.

3) What is expected to happen in Impress via the Terminal:

and the slide opens successfully.
4) What happens instead is it hangs indefinitely.
WORKAROUND: Open file using Microsoft Office PowerPoint via WINE.
