Bug Description
Binary package hint: gvfs
When you want to open a file, say openoffice -> recent documents and this document is located on a Samba share it will fail. You have to open nautilus and open one share which gets mounted via gvfs. After this action you can open your recently opened files. I've also noticed this behaviour with other programs in a similar situation. You first always have to open a share in Nautilus before you can continue working with samba shares.
Btw. I love the fact that in Jaunty the whole gvfs experience gotten so much better. Before I had to enter passwords multiple times.

that's an openoffice issue, any gvfs application, ie gedit, will mount the share if not available
