Bug Description

Unable to apply conditional formatting with regards to cell/column/font color.
When selecting: Format>Conditional formating>Cell Style, there are no options to select cell color and/or font color based on the parameters of the condition.

Note: When importing Excel documents with color based conditional formatting, all works as expected, and Cell Style shows "Excel_CondFormat_1_1_1" through condition "_3" but does not allow editing of the Cell Style.

Operation: I asked "how to" on the forums and could not find an answer to resolve this issue; I'm fairly certain this is not operator error, but feel free to correct me if it is by sending me instructions on how to accomplish the same Excel styles of conditional formatting.

It is imperative that I have this capability, and be able to go between Excel (work-place) and OpenOffice Calc (home; Linux/Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope) without any formatting issues. I work with large spread-sheets that require the use of high-lighted or color coded cells based on the cells content/value. I need to be able to work on these files at home in OpenOffice, and at work using MSOffice Excel, whether it's editing, creation, or analysis.

Please don't make me keep Window's, or god forbid-- Vista, just for MSOffice Excel. I absolutely must have this style of conditional formatting, or I'll be forced to keep Window's around.

This isn't really the place for this kind of report, but I'll try my best to help you,

Have you tried creating your own style and selecting that? (using the Styles and formatting box (press key F11))

Unless anyone else has any more advise they can give I can only suggest you try the forums again :(
