Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
> OS: Ubuntu 8.10 on IMB ThinkPad X31
Linux myLapTopX31 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 21:57:00 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
> Application: OpenOffice 2.4 Impress (installed from Ubuntu package manager)
> Movies: MJPEG
> I use the following steps to insert movies inside a slide:
0 - Convert all the movies for MJPEG + PCM 16 (if there is audio)
1 - Insert -> Movie and Sound
2 - Select Movie + Mouse right button -> Arranje -> Bring to Front
3 - Select Movie + Mouse right button -> Position and Size... -> Keep aspect ratio
4 - Select Movie + Mouse right button -> Position and Size... -> Size -> resize the movie
5 - Select Movie + Mouse right button -> Position and Size... -> Protect -> size + position
6 - Select Movie + press play button + press repeat button (when the case to be in loop while the slide is presented)
But some times the movies doesn't repeat with "repeat" button pressed. It occurs with or without audio inside the movie.
Thanks for your attention.

This bug has been fixed in the OpenOffice packages in Fedora. Can we somehow get it for Ubuntu as well? I am a heavy user of slideshow software, and I would so love this to be fixed! Don't want to use Windows and Powerpoint anymore.
Here's the bug report link from the Fedora Bugzilla page:
