Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I am using Open Office 3 to write documents, but as there is also people in my organzation that use Microsoft Word and we have to edit the same documents, we all use Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP format document.

When I try to insert a reference to a Chapter in the Table of Contents, it seems to work, but when I save the document, close it and then reopen the document, the reference is lost.

The same problem occurs with Open Office 2.

Pity that OpenOffice.org are treating this as an enhancement! MS Word is so widespread that bugs like this make people say, "OpenOffice just doesn't work, so I have to buy Word".

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
