Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
OpenOffice not working properly if the temp-file systems (/tmp) has not sufficient space.
Temp file system with insufficient space!
This leads to:
* Word documents could not open properly
* PDF Creation failed
* Printing with unexpected errors.
* OpenOffice crash when try to save a document
We make tests using RAM-Disk with various space (1M - 500M).
The critical path from my point of view: "No check if a write operation to the tmp-file in the /tmp directory has been successfully done - there is no check for the write-function return code"
Pls. review the OpenOffice libraries for the temporary writing stuff.
Best regards
Chris

If you don't have sufficient space in /tmp a lot more than just OOo won't work properly, pretty much your whole system won't. That part isn't a bug, but there is an upstream request already to make it more clear to the user what the problem is... that /tmp is full and/or not writable.
