Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I have an openoffice spreadsheet with a split column view (Window > Split). When I click on a cell, the corresponding cell in the split view is black. Please find an attachment that shows a picture.

Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex Release Candidate
OpenOffice.org 3.0 (installed using Ubuntu PPA)

Do you still have this problem with the new version of OOo in the ppa at https://launchpad.net/~openoffice-pkgs/+archive ? When I highlight items it highlights in light red instead of black for me.

I still have the problem. I am using:

OpenOffice.org 3.0.1
OOO300m14 (Build:9376)
openoffice.org-core 1:3.0.1rc1-2ubuntu2intrepid1, Mon Jan 12 22:20:00 UTC 2009

May be I did not explain clearly... When I select several cells, they get highlighted in some kind of light brown (ubuntu brown/orange) color. It is only when I am in split view, I have this issue. I am attaching a couple of pictures that show several cells selected in a spread sheet.

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
