Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 11.10
Release: 11.10

2) apt-cache policy libreoffice-calc
libreoffice-calc:
  Installed: 1:3.4.4-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1:3.4.4-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1:3.4.4-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates/main i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:3.4.3-3ubuntu2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages

3) What is expected to happen in LibreOffice Calc is in a blank document if one places in D7:

=IF(D13=0;1;EXP(-delta^D13))

only the first D13 left to right is highlighted, while the second D13 is either the same color or not highlighted at all as in Excel screenshot https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/262511/+attachment/2608715/+files/excel-screenshot.png .

4) What happens instead is the first D13 is blue while the second is red as shown in the screenshot https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/262511/+attachment/2570972/+files/highlighting.png .

Same problem encountered with Ubuntu for 1 year (the creation of the ods file), consequently I've worked with Windows Vista without any problem.
However with Jaunty Jackalope I can't reproduce it : it seems to be now resolved.

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
