Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
This is a very nasty bug. I will attach two files to this report, but:
write a table like that:
A+ 10
A 9.5
A- 9
B+ 8.5
then do a vlookup(...; 0) on it. If I enter a value A+, the answer is 9.5 instead of 10.
If I rename A+ to AP it works as expected.
You have an attached file showing the problem. If you save it as excel, and you open it from MS Excel, it will work ok.

Ok, I answer to myself:
Looking at http:// www.openoffice. org/issues/ show_bug. cgi?id= 44295
it seems not a bug. Disabling regexp in expressions it works as expected by me (although going thru Tools-> Options- >Calc-> Calculate does not suffice; you have to close/reload the sheet to have it working).
Nevertheless, it's an unexpected results. I know what a regexp is, but most of people (at least people I know) have no hints. The default is at least a bit dangerous...
Please close the bug if you think that this is the RightWay(tm), nevertheless. That's just an opinion...
