[upstream] text selection [(STRG+A) or with cursor] does not work properly

*** Reporting a bug in English is pretty difficult for me, sorry for possible mistakes in description ***
Selecting text with STRG+A or SHIFT+CURSORkey does not work well: Either only a part of text is highlighted/marked - in this case the content of the table is choosen, no matter where the cursor is -, or the highlighted text-area is on pretty unspecific positions. I dont think it's a feature, for this it seems to be too much accidentally.
