Bug Description

The textbox widget has a tan border around it. This bug is mainly noticeable with Firefox 3. It could be unnoticeable in the main use, because it will usually have a tan background behind it.

Other widgets are usually surrounded by transparency.

I may not be explaining this properly, so I included an example screenshot in firefox 3. I did edit it to show just the relevant widgets and to zoom in on the widget in question.

I can confirm this. This happens with most of themes (except clearlooks) and it is not so obvious because applications background color is usually very similar to text imput widget (light grey - white) . It becomes more visible if you set darker application background color. On the other hand, this is only the case with applications that are not original gtk applications like firefox and openoffice.

I can also confirm this bug. The funny thing for me is, that the error disappears when I have the mouse move over the text-box area. Minimizing the window and maximize it again, the error comes back.

Maybe this can help: this bug is present in ubuntu karmic and lucid, but it is not present in fedora 12.
