oobase does not start

Bug Description

i just installed the 3.1 build in a workstation - every application works, but oobase does not. no error message, no hint - tried to start from other open office component - result is that OOo says it closed unexpected and tries to recover the last open file (not the database). no trace of the root cause.

experienced on Intrepid, running 2.6.27-7-server #1 SMP kernel.

Same problem here. 3.1 installed on Intrepid desktop 2.6.27-11-generic.

Do you still have this problem with the new version of OOo in the ppa at https://launchpad.net/~openoffice-pkgs/+archive ?
