Multi company - Bug or bad setting

Bug Description
If someone can help us on the multi company features. We don't know if it's a bug or if we have a bad setup for the multi company functionalities.
We have this company structure under « Groupe SGL »:
1- GROUPE SGL
1.1- DDC LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-
1.2- DUO LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-
1.3- M.G. EXPRESS-QUÉBEC
1.4- ROY LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-
1.5- ROY LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-LAVAL
1.6- ROY LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-MONCTON
1.7- ROY LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-QUÉBEC
1.8- ROY LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-
Some users have « GROUPE SGL » company by default and they have access to all data on the other companies. This work fine.
Some users can access only one company data and it's work fine too.
If we give multiple companies access to a user we have the following problem.
user setting example:
User = john
default comany = DDC LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-
Other comapny = DDC LIVRAISON SPÉCIALISÉE-
When John enter to the system he can access only the data concerning the default company and that's correct. If John goes into user preferences and choose an other company every thing work fine too. But, if he go back to the preference screen and choose an other company, he can only see the data of the previous selecting company and nothing change.
What strange? If we going back to the user administration screen to see the setting of the user John, The default company was change to the first company he choose when he goes into the user preference screen. And the Multiple Companies are set to only this company (the other one disappear form the list) but if we take a look on the res_company_
Why default company are updated when we select an other company? I think the problem is around that point.
Can somebody verify this or confirm if it's a bug or what?
