fts does not return partner if only part (full word) of the partners name is entered as search criteria

it does not seem to search for words in partners name, but it returns invoices for this partner

can you please elaborate? Finding invoices would surprise me a bit, as this is functionality yet to be programmed.

The name the search looks in is name in res_partner_address. Might it be that you search for a term that is only present in res_partner.name?

thanks for looking into this

1) It found the invoice as attachment to be exact. (document search)

2) and yes I was expecting to search in res_partner.name - as the button "Partner" suggests

btw did you look into fts which was implemented in the koo project
