Bug Description

pads created in WEB client must be classified as such and "blocked"

currently it is possible to assign a file to a pad in GTK client which must be forbidden.

Hello Dr Ferdinand,

Pads are available via "pad" module. It adds enhanced support for (Ether)Pad attachments in the web client, lets the company customize which Pad installation should be used to link to new pads (by default, pad.openerp.com).

This is not at all concept for GTK.

Thanks

I am sorry to NOT agree
if an attachement is displayed in GTK it must be handled "correctly"
so if OpenERP decides not to open the http link for this PAD entry as the WEB-Client does - the GTK must issue a warning.

otherwise we will get endless bug reports about "not working" attachments.

Hello Dr. Ferdinand,

Yes,you are right. If pads are handled in web that should be handled in GTK using widget="url" on the field.

Thanks
