6.0.3/6.0.4 Can not attach an image to Employee

Hello,

I am currently using 6.0.4 and try to set the photo for the employee image. it will ask me for browsing a image file but when I am going to save the record I am getting an strage error box. The error box should not allow me to Expand the "Let me fix it" section as well "Fix it for me " section.

This all work well in 6.0.1 version.

Could you please assist me to resolve this issue.

I suspect some customisation at your end might have caused this trouble.

First clear the cache.

I have checked with updated code and it's working as expected with the following revision number.

server - 3610
addons -5154
web(6.0.4) - 4799

Would you please tried one's again with updated code with fresh db and informed us still you have faced the same problem ?

Thanks for looking into the issue.

I did not do any customisation at my end. Its just a fresh checkout of
new revision 6.0.4 for both server and web client.

Even I am getting same issue with my team members.

Hi,

I tried with the fresh checkout of 6.0.4 for both server and webclient
even with the Fresh New Database but still getting same issue.

Even one thing that I noticed is that work fine with GTK client. All
attachments are uploaded successfully as well retrieved without any
error.

there might be some problem in web client.

Hello Dhaval,

Yes, you are right the problem occurs in 6.0.4 because there is an issue with cherrypy 3.2.2 compatibility. It seems that you have run populate.sh and populate.sh will always take latest version. So it wall install cherrypy 3.2.2 that's why you have faced this problem.

The issue has already been fixed in lp:~openerp-dev/openobject-client-web/6.0-opw-55168-msh with rev no 4761
