Bug Description
we have discussed this in Jan 2008 already.
for fast working the user needs ONE KEY keyboard shortcuts - instead of using the mouse and/or composed keys
a lot of people use the left hand to handle documents and the right to enter (numeric) data and for navigation
what IMHO are the most important missing (including suggestions)
F3 = Close current tab
F4 = Open current widget (m2o, calendar, selection, reference) (Close with ESC)
F5 = Open print dialog
2xF5 = Open Actions
3xF5 = Open Browse
4xF5 = Open Plugins
F6 = Clear field
F8 = Clear record
F9 = duplicate record
F10 = switch view
F11 = jump into search mode (from form and tree) / jump to list section
F12 = Search
I know these 2 will be controversial as these have a double function ( but we had an application for 20 years now with this ...)
in edited field (standard)
Pos 1 = go to beginning of field
End = go to end of field
other
Pos 1 = new record
End = save
Tree:
Pg Down - load next set of limit records (missing docu)
Form:
Pg Down = jump into notebook section
Pg UP = jump back to form section
left/right Arrows = previous/next notebook tab
Up/Down Arrows = previous/next record (instead of Alt PgUp/Down) (like in Tree view)
Better visibility of the current field in tree view (invert color instead dotted border)
thanks for listening

ENTER (at least numeric keypad) should jump to next field (like tab)
if not one has always to use 2 hands to enter a form.
as I already said - fast data entry is only possible if all navigation can be done on keyboard and mostly with the right hand using numeric + naviagtion keys.
