[trunk] mass mailing partners not complete

I choose a couple of partners in Sales / Address Book / Customers

I click at right for Mass Mailing.

None of the email addresses from the partners gets filled into the To: field of the form.

I have also created an email template, and have tried to use it from the Mass Mailing wizard, but it is not being recognized (it does not show up in the list of templates to choose from - the list stays empty).

I have checked your Issue at my end,

Issue#1 : I have faced the problem when click at Mass mailing wizard, no one email address found in "to: field".

Issue#2 : But when I am use email template from Mass Mail wizard. At that time , It's showing in the list of templates. So I have attached the video for your reference. would you please check it and Inform us where you have faced the problem.

Your video shows you clicking on the "Mass Mailing" link when you are looking at the Partner form - that's not what this bug is about. Sending an Email to a single Partner is not mass mailing ;)

The steps to reproduce the bug are:

1. Look at the Partner list e.g. go to Sales > Address Book > Customers.
2. Select *multiple* Partners by ticking the checkbox next to them.
3. Click the "Mass Mailing" link in the right-hand sidebar.

This time you will see that the From and To fields are blank and mandatory, which doesn't make any sense. Also, you cannot click the message template button as it excepts something to be entered in the From, To and Subject fields.

This wizard needs to be redesigned to allow more than one Partner to be emailed using a single message or template.

First of all, Thanks for the point out this.which was completely misunderstood by me.
Yes, you are absolutely right. we should be Improved this wizard and needs to be redesigned to allow more than one Partner to be emailed using a single message or template.

So I am setting as "Wishlist" for the future map.

Hi Amit ,

Even I wanted to perform the same thing in mass mailing . I would like to select my customers and when I click on mass mailing , the "To field " has to be populated automatically with the selected customers ids .

Please let us know if this feature is available .
