process incoming shipments - can not accept partial delivery as full

IMHO it must be possible to qualify partial deliveries as full deliveries without generating a backorder

example - ordering unpacked quantities (tank to tank , truck loads)

I am not able get you exactly in this bug report.

In OpenERP we have two facilities available for picking(delivery).
1) Partial delivery :- It will allow us a partial delivery and if have receive/deliver partial product then it will generated a back order which is fine as per the functional behaviour.

2) Full delivery : It will not allow partial delivery.

SO would you please elaborate more on this what you exactly want..

Dear Ferdinand,
As far as I know, you can make OpenERP consider it a complete delivery by changing the quantities directly from the main form, instead of changing them on the "process" wizard.
So one may consider that this bug is invalid, or only a GUI improvement.
But I agree that this is user unfriendly and needs a lot of improvement.
