An error occurs when an automated action has a blank email from field

So would you please provide proper steps to reproduce it and provide error which you have faced.

I have installed a fresh instance and you are right, I'm not seeing the problem any more. It was probably a misconfiguration on my server.

You can safely disregard my patch.
