Products: After clearing the filter, I can't see all the Records.

Bug Description

GTK and Web clients

Purchases/Products/Products : after clearing the filter of the list view, I still can only see the buyable products.
(A product is buyable if I've selected the box "can be purchased" on its form).

==> Normally I should be able to see all the products after clearing the filter.

Hello Francois,

I have tested your scenario for GTK client and Web-client at my end.

For GTK client:
I am not able to find out the specified problem in GTK client.
So, please check it again.
If you faced the problem in GTK please provide screenshot or video related to problem.
so it's more useful for us to qualifying this bug.

For Web-client:
I am able to find out the problem of clear button in web client.
It's generic problem for web client, Not related to particular form.
So, I am confirming this bug for Web-client project.

Yes, its working. User can see all products after clearing filter.

In your bug specification you have specified the following two points:

1) Purchases/Products/Products : after clearing the filter of the list view, I can only see the buyable products.
    I am not able to find out this problem at my end.

2) Normally I should be able to see all the products after clearing the filter.

It is working in web-client. User can see all products after clicking clear button.
GTK's clear button clean all filters affects and also clean data.
Where as Web-client's clear button clear all filters only. so, all records are displayed.

So, I am closing this bug for Addons project and web-client.

We still experience this in 6.0 server (lp/6.0) and 6.0.2 GTK AND Web client.

The origin of this problem is a domain set in product/product_view.xml / product_normal_action_puchased.

I'll propose a merge to change this domain into a preselect for the "To Purchase" filter button, so that after clearing the filter all products will be available.

Hello ,

I have tested the over all scenario again and Found that the actual problem with the domain instead of context.

In action of product, domain was passed and just because of that When we try to find out over all product which are also " can be sold " we are not able to find those product with help of find button.

So,for this reason I am confirming this bug and assign it to related team.

Francois, Marco, I initially would have only accepted this bug+patch in trunk, as it looked a bit like an improvement (normally not done in stable branches), but seeing that we do have a "To Purchase" filter in the search view, it makes no sense if it doesn't work.
So we can gladly accept the patches in both 6.0 and trunk.
