production lot and shipping direct from Sales Order

Starting from within the Sales Order, open up the Picking List (use the green arrow from the screen). This opens up the screen "Products to Process". I select my product which REQUIRES a production lot. I enter the production lot, save the line, and then click on the Validate button. I get the error " Error occurred while validating the field(s) prodlot_id: You must assign a production lot for this product".

However, if I go directly into the Warehouse menu, Products Moves / Deliver Products, I can enter the production lot and make the shipment.

Also experiencing problem in the GTK Client.

I am unable to assign Production Lots via "Delivery Orders" but can do via "Deliver Products"

"Delivery Orders" presents the message:

'You must assign a production lot for this product'

from addons/stock/stock.py in the "_check_tracking" constraint.
