Bug Description

Openerp v.5.0.15
Ubuntu 9.10

1. After a supplier invoice creation which included several invoice lines there is a difference in decimal between Financial account chart and Analytic account chart. The difference is 2 cents.
The difference of 2 cents is between the sum of tax excluded lines in invoice and the sum of the same lines in Analytic account chart, while Financial account chart reflects correctly the amount provided by invoice, Analytic account chart has a small difference with amount in invoice.

2. I expected exactly the same tax excluded amount in : invoice, Analytic account chart and Financial account chart;

Thank you.

Hello Kalachnikov,

Well this is something unusual but could not generate the same scenario at my end.
Things work quite normally for us.
However i would like to meet the mishap.
I would like to have a bit detailed explanation may be screen-shots or a video would ease things depicting the steps that you follow.

Thanks.

Hello thank you for your answer;

I'll give you general description;

I set up an analytic account chart and analytic distributions attached to it for purpose to controle the real situation on my Bank and Cash analytic accounts. When a product is sold or bought (in Sale order or Purchase order) the analytic distribution debit or credit the Bank or Cash analytic accounts with exact amount that we payed/received from our customer/client.
But the first problem is that analytic account chart takes in consideration only the VAT excluded amount, so my Bank or Cash analytic account is impacted with VAT excluded amount, but this is not a real situation on this accounts.

To bypass this problem I configured my analytic distribution rate to impact the Bank/Cash account : 105,5% instead of 100%, with the VAT 5,5 % rate included in the amount; Thus the amount impacted to Bank/Cash analytic accounts contains 100% of VAT excluded amount + 5.5% of VAT = Exact amount received on Bank/Cash account. But here again the amount showed in analytic account chart is slightly different in decimals from real amount (note : if you click on analytic chart account you will see in Analytic journal there is no difference in decimals in unit amounts but the sum of them is wrong).

In screen shots I attached, you will see the total amount TAX included, in Purchase orders is 50 + 50 = 100 in Cash and 50 + 50 = 100 in Bank, but in analytic account chart we have 99.99 € for both Cash and Bank accounts. And again if you click on analytic account in the chart, in Analytic journal you will see unit price - 50 € and - 50 € but their sum will be - 99.99 €.
Same situation is if you open Analytic journal (see screen shot attached) the sum of unit amounts is wrong : 8 x -50€ = -399.97 €.
Thank you!
If you need more detailed information about the product or tax configurations don't hesitate to question me.
