Bug Description

currently all c2c budget reports are "flat" - the user can and does not recognize the hierarchy and consequently is not able to understand which numbers are summed up at multiple view level.

IMHO at least for views the parent_id name should be printed in brackets

Again I had big troubles to explain why the report does not show the structure

IMHO OpenERP should provide a decimal numbering system for structured lists (print outs) following the usual scheme known from OO and word.
1.
1.1.
1.1.1.
1.1.2.
1.2.

I think it would be very helpful to define a variable "level" in tree structured parent-child tables which dynamically generates this values.

currently it is not possible for the receiver of the report (and often also for the one preparing the report) to recognise structures which are printed / distributed over many pages ( I have reports with some 10-15 pages - impossible to see which positions (accounts/views) are summed up in the hierarchy.)

this is also very true for the standard accounting report - and also for the much better layout of account_financial_report

the indent level MUST BE NUMBERED AND PRINTED - to be clear.

summary: - c2c_budget reports - problems to recognize the hierarchy
+ USABILITY - tree structured report - problems to recognize the hierarchy

Hello,

Our R&D Teams are focused on the latest OpenERP version, and this issue does not affect it.
Our policy is to keep the changes applied on stable branches to a minimum, in order to limit the regression risks for customers that are in production. This means that bugs reported on Launchpad are fixed in the trunk branch only by default, even if they were reported against other stable versions.
We stand of course ready to backport the change to stable releases if it has an impact on any customer. In this case please report it to our maintenance team via the OpenERP Publisher's Warranty. They will quickly help solve the issue and backport the fix if needed.
Thank you for your understanding!
