Bug Description

The folders per resource feature does not function in Knowledge/Configuration/Directories/Folder_Name/Definition/Type

According to help - Each directory can either have the type Static or be linked to another resource. A static directory, as with Operating Systems, is the classic directory that can contain a set of files. The directories linked to systems resources automatically possess sub-directories for each of resource types defined in the parent directory.

Setting a folder to folders per resource and selecting a Resource model does not behave as explained in help above. Folder continues to behave as a static folder.

None of the settings under Directory Type seem to have any effect at all.
Tested on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 using OpenERP7.

Hy,

Does the per resource folder is an option for FTP browsing only?

I would like that files embeded through the web interface to be stored in a "per resource" folder

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe it only works with FTP. As-is this feature is rather limited so in order to meet my requirements I cooked up my own TTW interface for uploading files and attaching them to stock.picking instances created from the file data. It is still under development but working. You can see how this is accomplished here - https://github.com/septadev/vmi/blob/master/vmi_web/vmi_portal.py
