description |
Similar to bug #1086903, installing just the Accounting & Finance application on a fresh database results in a collection of modules where pricelists are clearly present and used in some cases, but a user with full access rights on everything is unable to edit or delete pricelists. I am using a fairly recent nightly build of the 6.1 Debian packages, version 6.1-20121130-002722-1.
I fixed this by going to settings -> groups, editing the "Sales Management / Manager" group, under the "Access Rights" tab, adding a read, write, create and delete entry for "Pricelist".
I suspect this or something similar should be among the configuration included with the "product" module, which seems to create the pricelist menus, but not allow anyone to edit pricelists by default. |

Pricelist menu is under sale/purchase pricelist menu, so the better solution is when only account module is installed this group much not be visible. |
