Error changing base currency

Hello Guys,

Using addons-6.1 branch rev 6962 , when I change base currency the field current rate still with the old currency rate and it must be updated to 1.00

Suppose ,IF you change base currency EUR to USD . Now the price of any product will be in USD (100 EUR to 100 USD). Because demo data is used. But in invoice ,if you change it. that's working fine ,currency rate changing 1 to 1.28 for EUR to USD.

If I got it wrong ,correct me.waiting for reply..!!!

Hello Guys,

When you try change the base currency its currency rate should be 1.000. Example:

Company Currency: BRL

Currency BRL: Base -> True, Current Rate 1.000

In this scenario if you have one product with sale price 400 BRL when you create one order line with this product, the price unit will be 400 BRL.

But when you try change the base currency in OpenERP, the current rate does not change to 1.000 and in this case:

Currency BRL: Base -> True, Current Rate 2.2344

In this scenario if you have one product with sale price 400 BRL when you create one order line with this product, the price unit will be 893,76 BRL.

PS. You need change sale pricelist currency to BRL

In my point of view, when you using I current base, it should change the conversion rate to 1.000 for selected currency
