Bug Description

hello,

using ver. 6.1. just installed google_map module. It works fine in the web client, but not in the GTK. On clicking on the See MAp button, the client shutsdown, and the google page opens as expected. There is one trace:

/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/openerp_client-6.1.1-py2.7.egg/openerp-client/widget/view/form_gtk/many2one.py:348: Warning: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.32.3/./gobject/gsignal.c:2537: instance `0x2222d60' has no handler with id `2920'
  self.wid_text.set_text(self.value_on_field)

Thank you,
Bogdan

Bogdan,

Thanks for reporting.

We think there could be fixes possible from 2 ways: GTK and addons.

For GTK, we can bypass 'nodestroy' key when its a call from button(special case of URL).
For Addons, the fix is attached here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Serpent Consulting Services.

Fix works nicely in GTK-client and has no impact on Web-Client!
Why has this not found it's way into trunk (6.1) yet?

Thank You much
Rudi

Rudolf,

If you have an OPW, you can get this fixed quickly if you use your system(s) for production.

Thanks.
