I can't reproduce this on windows and linux using 2.1.2 (beta2). Is it still an issue? Is it Mac only?

I’ve just tested using a clean install of 2.1.2 (beta2) on OS X 10.8.5, and the issue still exists.

I have a fix for this issue but it will only fix when the transparent background actually works which it currently doesn't when the vlc or system player are enabled and have been used at least once.

This looks like our usual transparency issue. Have you tried OpenLP 2.2.1 to see if it works for you?

This exists in 2.2, 2.4 and trunk. Transparent backgrounds being broken is another issue. The system drop shadow needs to be turned off on the render window.
