Bug Description

We need to add note that osx users need vlc containing 32/64 bit binaries.

openlp is on osx 32bit binary and 64bit-only vlc build won't work.

From http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html users need the '32/64 bits Intel' build.

The manual should include a note about vlc version. We found out that 2.0.4 is crashes with openlp on osx 10.6 (snow leopard) and 2.0.2 works there.

A similar issue is mentioned at their site: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=105401 So it seems the VLC team is already aware of it.

The test results are as follows:
 - on OS X 10.6 with VLC version 2.0.0 up to 2.0.3 the playback works, it crashes with 2.0.4
 - on OSX 10.8 with VLC version 2.0.3 the playback works, it crashes with 2.0.4
The working VLC executables can be found at http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/2.0.3/macosx/

The general recommendation for osx should be vlc 2.0.3 - known to work,
2.0.4 should be avoided - known not to work
