Pre-chorus and End gets same abbr. in Swedish

In verse order in the song creation window you cannot have both pre-chorus and end in the same song since they share the abbreviation S1 (pre-chorus=stick and end=slut). Or rather you can have a Pre-chorus but not an end since the abbreviation for End isn't recognized as a correct ditto.

Hi. We have a similar problem in Portugal.
Currently we are using 2 languages Spanish and Brazilian. I hope to include Portuguese tanslation shortly.
English Spanish / Brazilian / Portuguese
Pre-Chorus - > Pre-Corus / Pre-Refreao/ Pre-Coro
Bridge -> Puente / Ponte/Ponte

So Pre-Chorus and Bridge are both coded with P1...

I ran into this problem with the Brazilian Portugues translation.

In the file format, the differente kinds of verses are written out without abbreviation: "---Refrão: 1---", etc...

Since Pre- is kind of universal, and blocks all words starting with P, wouldn't it be a better idea to use a symbol like "+" or "-" to represent the pre-chorus? Or use icons to represent the differente kinds if verses.

Or just double-character like just P1 for pre-chorus and PU1/PO1 for
Puente/Ponte.

I think the double-character solution would cover all languages reported so far.
If not, at least using double-character only for some blocks
 shouldn't this be in the guidelines of the translations to avoid repeated First Char or Double Char.

Hi,

A possible solution is Add a mapping structure so we can map each block to
one or two letters.
This way each country/translation could decide what letters to use.

There is no solution for all languages (at least not programmatically). Bugs in the code can be fixed easily. But "bugs" in the translations causing bugs/problems are more difficult to fix, because we don't check what the translator translate.

The "one-letter" solutions looks much better than the "two-letter" solution: "V1" looks better than "VE1"

And I ask you to fix this in the translations instead.

The fix for "bridge/pre-chorus" (Português do Brasil) problem would be to translate "bridge" with "bridge". I checked that myself. There won't be any clashes.
