Bug Description
Having these two counts at our disposal will be useful to indicate the "interestingness" of any one record.
It would also be useful to record which search result someone clicks on, if that's at all possible.
And, make a note of trackbacks on Works & Editions. If we could display links *in* to Open Library records, that would be super awesome.

Ideally we could index a count per day too, so we can see trends over time.
Maybe even aim towards "hot subjects" which would be subjects whose works or child editions had been edited a lot in a certain period.
Be fun and interesting to turn our "Around The Library" page into more than just a list of recent edits. We could show trends over time, hot subjects, top editors, new records etc etc.
