Yes - we do need the ability to watch pages - the recent issue with a user changing the license agreement to german is a perfect example. This is fundamental to creating roles or moderators in OL: we should have librarians watching library data specific to their area of interest, translators should watch (and perhaps even own) pages in their language, libraries could watch and create pages specific to their organization - the list goes on.

Just so we're clear, the feature idea isn't bad at all, and will probably transform into "Lists" for version 1.

In addition to just being a way to collect stuff on OL, Lists would be really nice if OL notified you if one of the things on your list got updated.
